- Latzky-Berthold, Jacob Wolf
- (1881-1940)Ukrainian socialist leader. He was born in Kiev. He became involved in socialist activ-ities and became minister for Jewish affairs in the government of the independent Ukraine in 1918. In 1920 he settled in Berlin, but he later returned to Riga, where he edited the Yiddish daily newspapers Dos folk and Frimorgen. In 1935 he moved to Palestine.
